Kaushik’S Photography is located over in Dumdum, specifically at 1487 Rn Tagore Road. It’s a busy street, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. I started this because I liked taking photos, and eventually, it turned into a real job. The studio isn't massive, but it fits the equipment we need. Most days are spent either out on a shoot or sitting at the desk going through files. It’s a lot of sitting sometimes. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need a picture taken for something. We don't do anything too flashy. It’s just straightforward work. Sometimes the lighting in the studio acts up, or we have to move furniture around to make space for a bigger group. That's just how it goes. Rn Tagore Road can be loud with the cars, but inside it’s usually calm enough to get things done. I usually have a cup of tea while I'm working on the computer. It’s a local business, through and through. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of people. It’s just me and a bit of help when things get really hectic. We just try to do a decent job for the people who hire us. It's nice being in Dumdum. You get to know the other shop owners nearby after a while, and it feels like home. We’re just here doing what we know.
