Annapurna Professional Studio

You can find us at 51 Baghajatin Station Road. Being so close to the station means there is a constant stream of people walking past our door. You can hear the trains arriving and the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. Our studio is where we spend most of our time. It’s filled with cameras, tripods, and those big umbrellas we use for lighting. It’s not always perfectly clean. There are usually some props lying around from the last shoot and memory cards scattered on the desk. We do a lot of different things, from taking passport photos for people in a hurry to spending hours on family portraits. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big group comes in. We have to move the backdrops around and try to get everyone to stand in the right spot. We aren't some high-end fashion studio. We're just a local place where people come to capture a moment. Sometimes the lights get hot, and we have to take a break. We’ve been on this road for a while now, so we know most of the people who walk by. It’s a busy life, but we like the energy of the station road. We don't have a receptionist. You just walk in and one of us will be there to help you out once we finish with whatever we're doing. It’s just us and our cameras, trying to make sure the focus is right before the train whistles blow.
