Add Photography

We set up Add Photography at 79/79A Rajarammohan Roy Road because we liked the area. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our windows. People come in for all sorts of things, mostly when they need a photo for something important or just want to remember a day. We don't have a big fancy office, just the space here which we’ve been using for a good bit now. Some days it is quiet and we just sit around checking the cameras and cleaning the lenses. Other days, three families show up at once and it gets a bit crowded. That is just how it goes. We try to keep things simple here. We aren't trying to be the biggest studio in the city, we just want to do the work right. If you walk down the road, you’ll find us easily enough. The lighting in the back room is finally how we want it, even though the floor creaks a little. My cousin helps out sometimes when I have too many prints to finish. We do a lot of passport photos too, which sounds boring but it keeps us busy. Most people who live around here know where we are. We've seen kids grow up through the photos they take here for school every year. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood now. Just a regular shop on the road doing what we know how to do.
