We are located at A-44 in Anandapuri, right here in the Barrackpore area of Kolkata. It’s a busy little spot near N. C. Pukur, and we’ve been running Capital Photo Pvt Ltd from this address for a good while now. The shop itself is nothing too fancy, just a regular place where we handle photography stuff and printing. Most days involve people coming in for passport photos or maybe to get some old family pictures restored. We have a couple of printers that are usually running all afternoon. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really hot in Kolkata, but we manage. My cousin helps me out with the counter, and we mostly just talk to the neighbors who stop by. We aren't trying to be some big corporate studio. We just like taking photos and making sure the prints look alright. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the market. We have some cameras for sale, but mostly it's the service side that keeps us busy. We don’t have a website that works properly, so most people just walk in. It’s a simple business. We open up early, sweep the floor, and start the machines. If you need a frame or some digital work, we just do it right there. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years.
