Manisha Drining Water Supplier is based out of the ground floor in Action Area 1. We’re right on Dlf1 Road in New Town, which is a growing part of the city. If you look for Eden Shops, we are just a short walk from there. We spend our days loading up cans and making sure people in the flats around here have what they need. New Town can be a bit confusing with all the new buildings going up, but we know our way around these streets pretty well by now. It’s mostly just driving the small truck back and forth. The ground floor spot is good because we don’t have to deal with stairs when we’re moving the heavy water jugs. It gets tiring after a few hours, especially in the humidity. We aren't some big corporate chain with a fancy logo. It’s just a local operation. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook when it’s hot outside and everyone is thirsty. We try to get to everyone as fast as we can, but traffic on Dlf1 Road can get stuck sometimes. We just do our best. The shop is a bit cluttered with empty bottles right now, but that’s how it goes when business is steady. We’ve been here since the early days of Action Area 1 being built up. My sister helps with the accounts in the evenings.
