Mana Maa Super Store

Mana Maa Super Store is just a regular place in Lake Town, right there in Block A. We have been at 698 for a while now. Most people know us because we are quite close to the Punjab National Bank branch. It is a busy spot in Kolkata, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. Our shop isn't anything fancy or shiny. It is just a space where we keep things that people need for their houses every day. The shelves are mostly full, though sometimes we run out of stuff if the delivery truck is late. That happens a lot in this part of town with the traffic. We spend a lot of our time just unpacking boxes and putting things away. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise but it helps with the humidity. Some days it gets really crowded inside, and other days it is just us sitting here waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We know many of the faces who come in because they live right around the corner in these apartments. It is a simple life running a store like this. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just the shop floor and a small back room for storage. Sometimes we stand outside on the pavement just to get some fresh air. The street is always loud with cars and rickshaws going by. That is just how Lake Town is.
