M Leather Arts

We’re based in Mahamayapur Beltala. M Leather Arts isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a workshop where we put things together. Leather is what we know best. We make bags, belts, and small items that people use every day. You can usually hear the sound of hammers or the stitching machine if you come by in the afternoon. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city shops, but we like it that way. The air is a bit clearer and we have enough space to spread out our tools. Everything we do is done by hand or with simple machines. We aren't trying to mass-produce thousands of things. We just make what we can and sell it to folks who appreciate something that’s built to last. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start a piece over, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with natural materials. The workshop is usually covered in scrap pieces of leather and thread. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. We started this because we liked making things, and we’re still doing it years later. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just focusing on the craft and making sure the finished product looks right to us and the customer.
