Leather Trend

Our place, Leather Trend, is down at 44D/1, Topsia Road, (South). If you know the South Topsia area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the industrial activity around. We are tucked into our unit there and it’s usually a hive of activity from early morning. There is always noise from the street and the other businesses nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the goods we handle. We have stacks of boxes and materials everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a workplace, not a museum. We do our own lifting and moving. There isn't much in the way of air conditioning, so we rely on the big fans to keep the air moving. Some days the humidity is tough, but we’re used to it. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of our business is done face to face or through people we’ve known for years. The address 44D/1 is where we spend the bulk of our lives. It’s a simple building with a lot of character, mostly from the wear and tear of daily work. We don’t have any fancy brochures or big promises. We just show up at Topsia Road and do the work that needs doing. It’s a gritty part of town but it suits us and the way we operate. There’s no pretense here, just a lot of hard work day in and day out.
