Kid'S World English Medium School

Our place is at 96, Tn Banerjee Road. If you know Sodepur, you know this road can get quite crowded. We are tucked in there, right in the heart of Kolkata 700110. It’s an English medium school, so we spend a lot of time working on words and sounds. The kids try hard, even if they mix up their letters sometimes. It’s a lot of repetition. We have different classrooms for the different ages. Some of the younger ones still need help with their shoelaces or finishing their lunch. It’s a normal school day, really. We start early, and by noon, it’s a bit of a whirlwind with lunch breaks. The building itself has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We keep the place clean, but with so many children, there's always a stray pencil or an eraser hiding in a corner. We don't do anything too complicated here. We follow the books and try to make sure the kids understand what they are reading. The teachers are local people who care about the neighborhood. It’s practical work. You see the kids walking home with their bags, and you realize how much they're learning. We’re just a fixture on Tn Banerjee Road, doing our part without making a big fuss about things. We like it that way and the parents seem to agree with how we run things in this neighborhood.
