Kids Wonderland School

You can find us out on Manikdanga Road in the Sodepur area. We are located in Village Teghoria, near the Yugberia post office. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the middle of Kolkata, which is nice for a school. The building is surrounded by some trees and more open space than you’d get in the city center. We have several classrooms that we’ve tried to keep as tidy as possible. The kids come from the nearby villages and the Sodepur neighborhood. In the mornings, you can hear the birds before the children arrive and things get loud. We have a playground area that is mostly dirt and grass, but the kids love it anyway. The road outside, Manikdanga Road, has seen more traffic lately as the area grows. We have some old benches and tables that we’ve repainted a few times. The post office is just a short walk away, so we are easy to locate. The weather out here in 700110 can be quite hot in the summer, but we have big windows to let the breeze through. It’s a simple school where we don’t put on any airs. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone is doing okay. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a good spot for a school. We enjoy the slower pace of life out here in Teghoria. Most afternoons the sunset looks really nice from the main gate.
