Kids Valley School Basrehar Etawah

People sometimes get confused by the name because it mentions Etawah, but we are actually located right here on Dilip Ganguly Sarani in Kolkata. We are at number 3, which is very close to the ISI area. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people walking by all the time. The school is a modest building. We have a small sign outside so people don't miss us. Inside, it’s mostly just classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit. We spend a lot of our time making sure the kids stay in line and don't make too much of a mess, though that’s easier said than done. The street outside is narrow, so when it rains, it gets a bit muddy near the entrance. We have some old wooden cupboards where we keep the chalk and the registers. The windows look out onto the street, so you can see the rickshaws passing by. It’s a local school for local families. We don’t have a big playground, so the kids mostly play inside or in the small paved area we have. Every morning starts the same way with the children arriving and the teacher's calling out names. It’s a bit loud and chaotic at times, but that is just part of running a school in this part of town. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighbors are used to us. By the afternoon, things settle down and we start getting ready for the next day.
