Kids Park School

We've been here at AC - 258 for a while now. Most people know the Rabindrapally Panchayat Gali area, and we are right on Gitanjali Path in Kestopur. It’s a busy little neighborhood. The school started because there weren't many places nearby for the younger kids to go during the day. We have a few rooms where they play and learn their ABCs. It gets noisy sometimes, but that’s how it is with children around. The building isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have. Parents usually drop their kids off on their way to work. We try to keep things simple here. There’s a small area for toys and another for sitting down. We don't have fancy stuff, just the basics like charts on the walls and some chairs. It’s mostly just about giving them a safe spot to be for a few hours. We know most of the families around Gitanjali Path by name now. Living and working in the same part of Kolkata makes things easier. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but we manage. If you are looking for us, just head down the Panchayat Gali. We are usually open early in the morning. It’s a plain place, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it works for the families here. We just focus on getting through the daily lessons and making sure everyone is picked up on time.
