Kids Kingdom School

We are tucked away in the Kalindi Housing Scheme over in the Laketown area. If you live around this part of Kolkata, you probably pass our building fairly often. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays reasonably quiet until the kids show up in the morning. Then it’s all shouting and running around until the bell finally rings and they go inside. We’ve got this space set up for the little ones to spend their day while their parents are away at work. The rooms are filled with toys, small chairs, and plenty of drawings taped to the walls. It’s never really tidy for long, but that’s just how it goes when you have children around. Sometimes the traffic in Laketown gets a bit much, especially near the main road, but once you get inside the housing scheme, it’s a lot easier to breathe. Our teachers are mostly from the neighborhood and have been with us for a while. We don’t do anything too complicated or fancy here. We just make sure the children have a safe spot to play and learn their basic numbers and letters before they move on to the bigger schools. You can find us at the 700089 pin code area. We’ve been here for years, watching the kids grow up and then seeing their younger siblings come in a few years later. It’s a nice cycle to be part of. We usually have a lot of messy artwork hanging up that the kids made themselves. It makes the place feel more like a home.
