Kids Cambridge English Medium School

Kids Cambridge English Medium School is tucked away at 6, Banamali Naskar Road in Parnasree Pally. This part of Behala is very residential and has a lot of trees and old houses. Our school fits right into that vibe. It’s located in a building that looks like a regular home from the outside. We have a small gate and a narrow entrance. Most of the kids who come here live within walking distance. You see them coming down Banamali Naskar Road in their uniforms every morning. The atmosphere is quite relaxed. We don't have the rush and noise of the main Diamond Harbour Road here. Inside, the rooms are filled with wooden desks and benches. The walls are covered with charts about animals and the alphabet. We don't have a big auditorium or a swimming pool. It’s just a place with classrooms where kids learn to read and write. The teachers are mostly people from the neighborhood who have lived in Parnasree for a long time. They know the families well. In the winter, the sun hits the front of the building nicely, but in the summer, we rely on the old ceiling fans to keep things cool. There’s always a bit of a scramble at dismissal time when all the parents arrive at once on the narrow road. It’s a humble school that has been part of the community for a while now. We just do our thing every day.
