Ketki Bari School

Our school is right on Diamond Harbour Road, at number 1/1 in the Behala area. It is a very busy spot because of the main road, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and traffic outside. We’ve been here for quite a while and have become a bit of a local landmark for people in the 700034 area. The school itself is quite traditional. We don't have any of those modern, high-tech features you see in the newer private schools. It’s just desks, chairs, and books. We aren't trying to sell anyone on a fancy vision. We just provide a place for students to come and learn their lessons. Most of our staff are from right here in Behala, so we know the community well. The building is sturdy but it’s definitely seen a lot of use over the years. We keep it as tidy as we can, though it’s a working school so it’s never perfectly quiet or clean. We don't have a marketing department or a polished website. If you want to know about us, you just come by the gate and ask. We deal with the day-to-day things, like fixing a broken fan or organizing the school records. It’s a very practical and grounded place. We just focus on the kids and their education without any big fuss or corporate slogans.
