Ketan Convent English Medium High School

We've been at 158 Charuchandra Place East for a long time now. It's right in the Tollygunge area. We run Ketan Convent English Medium High School here and people around Kolkata 700033 know us mostly by word of mouth. The building is just a regular school setup, nothing fancy or modern about it. We deal with kids from the local area mostly. Every morning the street gets a bit busy when parents drop off their children in rickshaws or cars. It’s an English medium place, so that's what we focus on every single day. Some of the teachers have been here for years and they know the families around here pretty well. It's not a huge campus but we make it work for the students. We have different classes for different ages. Sometimes it's noisy, especially during the breaks, but that's just how schools are in a city like this. We try to keep things organized. If you're walking down Charuchandra Place, you'll see the gate easily. It's a simple place to get an education without any bells and whistles. We don't have big billboards or anything. Most people just come in and ask the staff about admissions. We keep the paperwork straightforward. It’s just a normal school in a busy part of town. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on from here. It feels like a part of the neighborhood now. Nothing more to it, just a school doing its job every day.
