Keshava Reddy English Medium School

Our school is located at 18/1B Hindusthan Road in Gariahat. It’s a bit of a maze around here with all the shops and people, but we are right in the middle of it all. We’ve been operating this English medium school for quite some time now. It’s a modest building. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every room is used to its full potential. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of kids talking or teachers giving lessons. Gariahat is a lively area of Kolkata, and you can definitely feel that energy inside the school. We don't have a marketing team or any polished brochures to hand out. Most of our students come from the local families who have known about us for years. The desks are simple and the classrooms are plain, but they serve their purpose just fine. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just teach the kids their subjects and make sure they are following the curriculum. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud, especially during the festival seasons, but we just carry on with our work. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We aren't trying to be a fancy academy. We are just a neighborhood school where kids come to learn. It’s practical and it’s what we know how to do.
