Kesavareddy School

Our school is tucked away at 14A Raja Santosh Road. It's a quiet enough street compared to the main roads in Alipore. We have been here in the 700027 zip code for quite some time. The building is older, but it works for what we need. Inside, you will find classrooms with rows of desks and some old cupboards for books. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you're pretty much right in the middle of things. We have a small area where kids can stand around during breaks. The rooms have big windows, which helps when the Kolkata heat gets a bit much. Most of our teachers have been with us for years. They know the families around here. We don't use a lot of technology, just the basics like chalk and boards. It’s a simple way of doing things. Sometimes the roof needs a bit of work after the rainy season. We just fix it and keep going. Parents usually drop their kids off at the gate and head to work. It’s a routine we’ve had for a long time. We don't make a big fuss about things. It’s just a school on a regular street in Kolkata. We keep the gates locked during the day for safety. The neighbors are used to us being here and we try not to be too loud.
