You’ll find us at 7/1 A, Satyendra Majumdar Sarani in Kalighat. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the parents are dropping their kids off. The building isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We follow the CBSE books, so there’s always a lot of heavy bags coming through the door. The classrooms have big windows, which helps when the Kolkata heat gets a bit much. Most of the staff has been working here for years, so we’re all pretty used to each other’s habits. We don't do much in the way of big events, but we keep things moving along. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but the students don't seem to mind. They are busy with their work. We have a small area for the younger ones to play, though it’s not a full field. It’s more of a paved space. We try to keep the hallways clear, but there’s always a stray bag or a jacket left behind. The office is usually where you'll find someone if you have a question about the fees or the schedule. It’s just a plain room with some chairs. We like it this way. It’s practical and we know all the parents by name. Living and working in this part of town means you're part of the local community. It is a lot of work but we have been doing it for years now.
