We are over at 65 Pratapaditya Road. It's an old part of Kalighat, and the school has been here quite a while. Most days, you’ll see the kids walking in through the gate around 8:00 AM. It gets pretty busy on this street. The classrooms aren't fancy, just the usual desks and blackboards. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students running around, it’s a bit of a struggle. The teachers live nearby, some of them have been with us for twenty years. They know the families around here. Parents drop by to chat about their kids' grades or just to see how things are going. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just open the windows to let the breeze in. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big playground, just a small courtyard where they play during the break. You can hear the noise from the street, but once the lessons start, it settles down. We mostly focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids understand their lessons. It’s just a regular high school in a crowded part of Kolkata. People know where we are because of the blue gates. If you're walking down from the temple side, you can't miss it. We spend a lot of time just organizing the registers and making sure the benches are fixed. Nothing too exciting happens, just the daily work of running a school.
