Kennedy Matriculation Higher Secondary School

You can find us over at Mohan Chand Road in Khidirpur. We have been operating this school for quite a while, and it has become a staple of the local neighborhood. It is a tall building with many stairs, and during the class changes, it gets very crowded with students moving up and down. We have many classrooms filled with desks and benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. The teachers spend their day going from one room to another, and the office is usually piled high with books and attendance registers. We do not have much in the way of fancy equipment. We mostly stick to the basics of reading and writing and doing math. The area around us is quite congested, so there is always the sound of horns and vendors outside the windows. We try to keep the students focused on their books despite the distractions of the city. During exam times, the whole place gets very quiet, which is a big change from the usual shouting and laughing. We know the local families well since most of the children live within walking distance. It is a standard school where we just try to get the work done and make sure the students learn what they need to. It is a bit worn out in some places, but it is a busy and honest place to be every day for the kids and the staff.
