Kenedy Vidya Bhavan High School

You can find us at 4/3/ H/3, Bhukailash Road. We’re tucked away in Khidirpur, Kolkata, 700023. This neighborhood has a lot of history, and we’ve been here in the middle of it for quite a while. The school is a high school, so we see a lot of teenagers every day. The building is an old one, with those thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s mostly just classrooms, some benches, and chalkboards. Life on Bhukailash Road is always moving. We have a small staff, and most of us live just a few streets away. It makes things easier in the mornings. We don’t do a lot of fancy events. We mostly just focus on getting through the syllabus before the exams come around. Sometimes the rains make the street outside a bit messy, but the kids still make it in. We know most of the parents by their first names. It’s a local school for local people. We try to keep the fees manageable because we know how it is for families around here. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves if we can. It’s just a normal, hardworking school in a busy part of the city. We’re just here doing our bit. We don't really have a big gate or anything, just the main door that stays open during the day so people can come and go as they need.
