Kelvin Impex (P) Ltd.

Our place is at 22-B Rabindra Sarani, specifically in Shop No. G-48. Rabindra Sarani is one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and everything feels very close together. Kelvin Impex (P) Ltd. has been in this small unit for some time now. It’s a ground floor shop, which makes it easier for moving goods, but it’s still a tight squeeze. We have piles of ledgers and samples everywhere. The shop doesn't have a lot of room for people to just stand around, so we are always shuffling things to make a path. It’s quite loud outside with the handcarts and the people shouting to get through the crowd. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the street noise. The lights are those long tubes that flicker a bit when you first turn them on in the morning. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a place where we do our import and export work and handle the documentation. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to vendors who drop by. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in a very traditional part of town. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep our records straight in the middle of all the chaos outside.
