We are up on the second floor of the Northwing at 113 Park Street. It’s a very old building, like many others on this street, with high ceilings and those big heavy doors. Park Street is always full of people and noise, but once you get inside and head up the stairs, it gets a bit quieter. We work on designs here. It could be for interiors or clothes or whatever people need. Our tables are usually covered in sketches, fabric samples, and rolls of paper. We have a few computers, but a lot of the work is still done by looking at things and moving them around. The light coming through the windows is actually pretty good in the mornings. We drink a lot of coffee while we figure out how to make a space or a product look better. It’s not a fancy studio with minimalist furniture. It’s a working space where things get messy. We’ve got a small team and we spend most of our day debating colors or measurements. Sometimes the lift breaks down and we have to climb the two flights, which isn't great in the summer heat. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. If we need a specific material, we can usually find it within walking distance. It’s just us doing our design work in an old room on Park Street. No frills.
