Strand Road is always a bit of a mess with the traffic and the noise from the river nearby, but 67/25 is where we call home. We’ve been working with veneers here for quite some time now. The building is old, and you can feel the history in the stairwell. It’s not the quietest place to run a business, but being right here in the middle of everything makes it easier for the trucks to get in and out, even if the narrow lanes make it a challenge sometimes. Inside, the air usually has that faint smell of wood and glue, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have a small office space where the phones are usually ringing and someone is always trying to figure out a delivery schedule. It’s a bit of a balancing act, keeping track of all the different types of wood and making sure the factory side knows what the office side is doing. Most days I’m just sitting at the old wooden desk, looking over invoices and hoping the rain doesn’t delay the next shipment. We don't go in for big meetings or fancy presentations. It’s more about the practical side of things, like making sure the quality is what it needs to be and that the orders aren't sitting around for too long. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. The day usually ends with a final check of the gate.
