Space

Being located on Park Street at number 37/39 is quite interesting because this part of the city is always so busy and full of life. There are always people walking past our door, either heading to the other shops or going to the various restaurants nearby. Our place is just one of many along this busy stretch. We have a couple of rooms inside where we keep everything organized. It is not a very big space, but we make it work by stacking things high and trying to keep the floor as clear as we can. The building itself has been here for a long time, so it has that real old-fashioned city feel to it. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit narrow when we are trying to move things in or out of the building. We spend most of our day just managing what is on the shelves and talking to anyone who wanders in from the sidewalk. It gets pretty loud outside during the lunch hour and then again in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk. We do not really do any advertising; people mostly just see our sign when they are passing by and decide to pop in to see what we have. We usually have a small radio playing in the corner, mostly just for the news or some local music to help pass the time. It is a very straightforward kind of place to work. We handle all the sales ourselves and if something needs to be fixed, we just take care of it right there. Park Street is famous, but we are just a regular business.
