Keerthi English Medium School

Keerthi English Medium School sits at 56/2 Hazra Road, specifically on the third floor. Ballygunge is a busy part of town, so there is always a hum of buses and cars coming from the street below. We’ve been in this building for quite some time, and the layout is pretty straightforward. You walk up the stairs and find the classrooms arranged along the hallway. It is a school where things are kept simple. We don’t have a sprawling campus with grass fields, but we make use of the space we have. Every morning starts with the usual shuffle of bags and books as students settle in. The walls are covered with student work and charts that have been there through many terms. It can get a bit noisy when classes change over, but that is just how schools are. We focus on the daily lessons and getting through the syllabus without too much fuss. Parents usually wait downstairs or near the entrance when it is time to head home. The location is convenient for anyone living near Gariahat or the main Hazra crossing. It isn't a fancy institution with high-tech gadgets in every corner; it is just a place where kids come to learn their subjects and spend time with their friends. We just try to keep a steady routine going from Monday to Friday, making sure the registers are marked and the homework is checked. It is a busy life for all of us here.
