Katurva Gandhi Girls School Pawai

We are located at 10 Mahatma Gandhi Road, specifically near Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarani. This is a very busy part of Kolkata, and the school has been a fixture here for a long time. It’s a girls' school and the building is quite large and old. It has that classic look with big windows and a lot of stairs. We have a lot of students coming through our doors every morning. It gets very loud when the classes change, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a lot of modern bells and whistles. Our classrooms have the basic stuff like blackboards and wooden benches. The staff works hard to keep everything running, from the teaching to the daily maintenance. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do our jobs. The area outside is always full of people and shops, so there’s a lot of energy. We have a small courtyard area inside where things are a bit calmer. We teach the regular curriculum and help the girls get ready for their exams. Sometimes the building needs repairs, and we just deal with it when we can. It’s a very real, down-to-earth place. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a school that provides a place for girls to study. It’s been our routine for years and we just keep at it every day.
