We are located at Plot No. 1628 in Zone 9 of the Leather Goods Park, which is part of the Leather Complex in Bantala. This is a very specific kind of area to work in. Everything around here is about leather. You can smell it as soon as you get close to the gate. Our plot has plenty of space for the raw hides and the finished goods we make. It’s a bit dusty and the ground is uneven, but it works for what we need. We spend our time checking the quality of the skins and making sure the dyes are right. It’s heavy work, moving the leather around and using the presses. The Leather Complex is huge, so we are just one small part of it. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a desk in the corner of the warehouse. The fans are always running to keep the air moving. We have a few workers who know their way around leather. Most of the day is spent with our hands on the material. It’s a bit far out from the city center, so we usually bring our own lunch and stay for the whole shift. There isn't much to see except for stacks of leather and the tools we use to cut and sew it. We focus on getting the orders ready for the big trucks that come by Zone 9 every few days. The gates are heavy and hard to open, especially in the rainy season.
