Jayanti Stores

Jayanti Stores is a small business located at 101 Feeder Road in the Belgharia area of Kolkata. We have been serving the people around here for quite some time now. The shop is located on a busy street, so there is always a lot of noise from the passing rickshaws and buses. Inside, it is a bit quieter, though we keep the radio on sometimes. We stock the usual household necessities like mustard oil, rice, packets of tea, and different kinds of snacks. We also have some stationary and basic medicines for when people need something quickly. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to carry a wide variety of goods to make sure nobody leaves empty-handed. Our shelves are a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners, but they hold everything just fine. Most of our work involves weighing out items or packing things up for the local residents who stop by on their way home. It’s a simple operation run by a couple of us who know the area well. We don't do any big advertising or have a corporate office. It is just a neighborhood store where you can get what you need without any trouble. People in Belgharia know they can find us here from morning until night, every day of the week. We try to keep a bit of everything so no one has to go too far into the city for their basics.
