Indo Leder Krafts

Our business is located at 25/f on Topsia Road. If you know this part of town, you know it is the center for leather work. The smell of tanned hides is something you get used to very quickly when you work here every day. We spend most of our time at Indo Leder Krafts dealing with raw materials and turning them into something useful. The workspace is a bit cramped because leather takes up a lot of room. We have big heavy tables for cutting and machines that can sew through the thick material. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. There are always scraps of leather and shavings on the floor by the end of the shift. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat, but it still gets warm in the workshop. Our team is small, mostly people who have been working with leather for years and know exactly how it behaves. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll likely find us with our sleeves rolled up working on a batch of goods. Topsia Road is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We check every piece by hand to make sure the seams are tight. It’s a lot of physical labor, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like.
