You’ll find us at No. 23 Gora Chand Lane, which is very close to Pak Circus. The lane is quite narrow, so if two people are walking side by side, it’s a tight squeeze. We work mostly with leather here. It’s a tough material, so our hands are usually a bit calloused and stained from the dyes. The building we are in is quite old, and you can hear the sounds of the city and the nearby circus area throughout the day. We have a heavy workbench where most of the cutting happens. It’s scarred with marks from years of use, but it’s the best piece of furniture we have. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working with the skins or packing up orders on the floor. It’s a very practical setup. We keep the scrap pieces in big bins under the table because we don't like to waste anything. Sometimes the neighborhood kids peek in through the door to see what we are making. We just give them a nod and keep going. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, so we do the detail work near the front where the sun comes in. It’s a simple life, focused on the material and the tools we use every day. We’ve been in this lane for a long time now and don't plan on leaving.
