Golchha Udyog

Our place is on Mahatma Gandhi Road, right in the middle of Bara Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded 156A can get. It is always loud with trucks and people moving things around. Golchha Udyog has been here for years. We do our work in the middle of all that chaos. The building is old and has a lot of character, maybe too much sometimes when the roof leaks or the stairs creak. We deal with all sorts of people every day. Most of them are in a hurry. We just keep our heads down and get the orders processed. It is not a shiny office. There is dust and piles of paperwork and the smell of the market. Bara Bazar is a tough place to work but it is where everything happens. We have a few desks and a lot of storage space. It gets really hot in the summer months. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors. Most of the shops around us have been here for generations too. It is just the way it is on MG Road. We don't have a big sign or anything. People who need us usually know where to go. We just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. It is a long day usually, starting early and ending when the market slows down.
