We are located at 84, Topsia Road. If you know the area, you know it’s the heart of where things get made. Our building is right there among the others, and it's always full of the sound of sewing machines and the smell of finished leather. We make bags and other small things. It’s a lot of cutting and stitching all day long. The floor is usually covered in scraps of brown and black leather by noon. We have a few long tables where everyone sits and works. It’s a bit dusty, and the fans overhead just move the warm air around, but we get the work done. Topsia Road is a crowded place, so getting materials in and out can be a real headache with the traffic and the narrow lanes. We don't have a big sign or anything special on the outside. Most people just know us by word of mouth or because they’ve seen our trucks loading up. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even if we have quite a few people working here now. We drink a lot of tea while we work to stay focused. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to finish before a big deadline. Nobody complains much. We just focus on making sure the stitches are straight and the leather is good quality. That's really all there is to it. We aren't trying to change the world, just making good bags to sell.
