Our office for Gaurav Lederwaren Pvt. Ltd. is at No. 69 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. We are located right near India House, so we are pretty easy to find if you are in that part of the city. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our work involves leather, as you might guess from the name. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You can usually smell the leather as soon as you walk in. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a workspace where we handle the business side of things and look at samples. The street outside is always crowded with people and cars. It's a central location, which helps with getting things moved around. We have a small group of people working here. We aren't interested in being a giant corporation. We just want to do our work and do it right. Sometimes the lifts in the building are slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just part of being in an older block. We keep our records in big folders and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. It’s a busy life on Ganesh Chandra Avenue, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep things moving one day at a time, checking every hide that comes through before we send it off.
