Ganguli Leather

Our location is at 142A, Swinhoe Lane. We go by the name Ganguli Leather and have been part of this neighborhood for a while. It’s not a massive operation, just a local spot where we deal with leather day in and day out. People around here know the address pretty well. We have stayed in this same spot for many years. It is an older part of town, but that suits the kind of work we do just fine. We don’t have any marketing people or fancy advertisements. It is just a few of us here making sure the jobs get finished. The lane can be quite loud and hectic during the middle of the day. We don’t really mind the noise though, as it makes us feel like we are part of the local life. Since we work with leather every single day, there is always that specific smell in the air around the shop. Some folks find it strong, but for us, it’s just the smell of a normal workday. We aren't trying to change the whole industry, just trying to keep our own little business going. We have our tools and our supplies and we just get on with it.
