Eiilm (Eastern Institute For Integrated Learning In Management)

We are based over at 42/4 N.S.C. Bose Road, which is a very busy part of Kolkata. The place is actually care of Chandan Das, so if you are ever looking for the office, that is the name listed on the records. It is an institute for management, but it really does not feel like one of those big, cold universities. It is more like a local learning spot where people actually talk to one another. Being in the 700040 area means we get a lot of local traffic and people just dropping by to ask questions about how the courses work. The building itself is not new; it has that old Kolkata charm with thick walls and high ceilings. We spend most of our time organizing classes and making sure that the students have the materials they need for the day. It gets quite busy during the middle of the afternoon, especially when everyone is coming and going for their different sessions. We do not have any fancy leather chairs or glass walls here. It is mostly just wooden desks, some chalkboards, and a few computers for the integrated learning work. Living and working around here means you get to know the local tea stall guy and the rickshaw drivers on the corner. It is a real community feeling. We have been in this spot for a bit now, just doing our daily work and helping people get their management studies sorted without much fuss.
