Dolphin Leathers

Tangra is a busy place, especially around Matheshwar Talla Road. We are over at No. 60, right in the heart of China Town. It's easy to find us because Dolphin Leathers sits right opposite the Kim Ling Restaurant. Most days the smell of food from across the street drifts into our workspace. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of history in the leather trade. We’ve been here at this address for a while now, just doing our thing. The building isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where we get the work done. In the mornings, you see the delivery vans trying to navigate the narrow lanes, and it gets pretty loud. We start early, usually before the lunch rush at Kim Ling begins. There’s a lot of back and forth, moving hides around and checking the stock. It’s dusty work but we’re used to it. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, but life in Tangra keeps moving. We don't really do much in terms of big signs or bright lights. If you know the area, you know where we are. It’s just us, the machines, and the stacks of leather. We keep the doors open when it's hot, and you can hear the chatter of the neighbors. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls, just a real workshop where people have worked for years. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby.
