Daily Bazaar

Daily Bazaar is at 1, C. K. S. Lane, inside the Rathbari Building. It’s a well-known spot around here. We have a lot of different things for sale. People come to us for their daily needs, hence the name. The Rathbari Building is old and has a lot of character. Our shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just walk in. C. K. S. Lane is a bit narrow, so it can get tight when people are moving around. We have everything from flour to cleaning supplies. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to fit so much onto the shelves. We’ve been here for several years now. The staff is just a few locals who know where everything is kept. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us and the customers. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, but we've added some extra bulbs lately. We stay open pretty late to catch the people coming home from work. They usually grab milk or bread on their way. We enjoy the chat with our regulars. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have a website or anything. If someone needs something, they just come over and ask. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a busy little corner of the building. We have a small radio that plays in the background. It helps pass the time when things are slow. The floors are made of old stone and they stay cool in the summer.
