Curesa Leather Products Pvt. Ltd. is located right at 9 J. Topsia Road. If you know this part of town, you know it's where a lot of the leather work happens. The smell of leather is everywhere around here. It’s a scent you get used to after a couple of days. We have been working out of this building for a long time. It’s an old place, but it serves us well for what we do. We spend our hours cutting hides and making sure the edges are clean. Leather is a tough material to work with and it doesn't forgive mistakes easily. You have to be careful with every single piece. Our workers have thick callouses on their hands from years of pulling and stitching. We don’t have any big corporate slogans. We just show up, drink some tea, and get to work. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy, but that doesn’t stop us. Inside, it's usually a bit cramped with all the scraps and finished goods waiting to be shipped out. We deal with all kinds of leather items. It’s a dusty job and your clothes always end up smelling like the shop. But there’s a sense of pride when you see a finished product ready to go. We are just a local business on J. Topsia Road trying to make a living. We know our neighbors and they know us. It’s a simple operation, really. We just keep at it.
