Burhani Provision Stores

Burhani Provision Stores is tucked away on East Topsia Road, near Mirania Gardens. This part of Topsia is always full of life and a bit of chaos. Our shop is not very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to hang things up. You will see packets of biscuits and sachets of shampoo hanging from the ceiling on hooks. We sell things like rice, sugar, and different types of oil. The smell of spices is quite strong inside because we keep some of them in open sacks. I have been working here for a long time, and I know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The street outside is narrow and often muddy when it rains, so we have a piece of cardboard near the door for people to wipe their feet. We have a small lightbulb hanging from a wire that flickers sometimes when the wind blows. It is a humble place, but it serves the people who live in the nearby flats and houses. We do not have a fancy display or anything like that. We just put the goods out where people can see them. Sometimes we have a chat with the milkman or the bread delivery guy while we wait for the first customer. It is a busy life but we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
