Finding us on Bright Street can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the area around the nursing home. We are at 22/h/6, right near the Bright Nursing Home, which everyone uses as a landmark. The street itself is narrow and always has something going on, whether it's a delivery van blocking the way or neighbors chatting. Inside our place, the air has that heavy, unmistakable smell of leather that you just get used to after ten minutes. It’s a smell that stays on your clothes even after you leave. We have piles of hides sitting in the corners, sorted by color and thickness. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we usually have to take pieces over to the window to really see the grain. It’s a small team here, and we’ve worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to get through the day's tasks. Sometimes the noise from the street gets loud, especially when an ambulance is trying to get to the nursing home, but we just keep our heads down. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a workshop where we handle the material and get it ready for wherever it’s going next. It’s honest work, and the location has been home for us for a long time.
