Bipin Bihari College

Bipin Bihari College is located at Be 392 in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. If you know the Salt Lake area, you know it’s mostly planned out, but finding specific blocks can still be a bit of a puzzle. We’ve been here at this address for several years. It’s not a giant campus like the ones you see on TV. It’s more of a functional building where we conduct our classes. Kolkata is always humid, and the college building feels that too. We have fans in every room and we keep the windows open. We don’t go in for big promotional talk. We just offer the courses and the students show up. Most of the people working here have lived in Kolkata their whole lives. We have a small library and some desk space for the administrative staff. Things can get a bit slow when the weather is bad, but we usually stay on schedule. The 700064 area is pretty well-connected, so getting here isn’t a huge problem for most. We are just a regular college trying to help people get their degrees. We don't have fancy cafes or lounges. It’s just desks, chairs, and teachers. We take the work seriously but we don’t try to act like we are something we aren’t. It works for us.
