Bhowanipore Education Society

We are located right in the heart of Kolkata, specifically in the 700019 area. Being in Bhowanipore means we are surrounded by a lot of history and a lot of noise too. It’s a busy part of town. The Bhowanipore Education Society has been around for quite a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change so much over the years. Our building is usually full of people coming and going. It’s not just a place for books and classes; it’s where we spend most of our lives. The staff here is a mix of older folks who have been here forever and some newer faces too. We don’t really do the whole polished corporate thing. It’s more about the day-to-day work of keeping the wheels turning. Sometimes the elevators act up or the hallways get too crowded during lunch, but that’s just how it is. We appreciate being so central in the city because it makes it easy for everyone to reach us. There’s always something happening around the corner. We focus on getting the administrative side of things right so everything else follows. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the schedules are kept. We are just glad to be a steady part of the local community here in South Kolkata. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to the pace by now. It keeps us on our toes and we like that. Most days are long but we enjoy the area.
