Asian Leather Goods & Garments Inspection

Our work happens at Asian Leather Goods & Garments Inspection, which is on the 2nd floor on Naskal Lane. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside and away from the main road. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so people have to watch their step. Our main job is just looking at things. We check leather jackets, bags, and different types of clothes to see if they were made right. We have long tables with bright lights over them so we can see every stitch and hide mark. If something looks wrong, we mark it with a bit of tape. The air smells like leather most of the time, which is something you stop noticing after a few months. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just the tables and some sturdy chairs. The windows look out over the rooftops of the nearby buildings. Sometimes birds land on the ledge and make a racket while we are trying to concentrate. We keep a logbook on the desk to write down what we find every day. It is repetitive work, but someone has to do it. We just come in, turn on the lights, and start going through the crates. It is just a plain workspace in Naskal Lane.
