Akshar School

Akshar School is situated at 35, Diamond Harbour Rd in the Alipore area. This is a pretty well-known part of the city. Diamond Harbour Road is always packed with cars and buses, so getting here takes a bit of timing. Our building at number 35 is a place where we’ve been operating for a while. It’s a solid, older building that has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. Alipore is a nice neighborhood, even with all the traffic on the main road. Inside the school, it’s mostly just the sound of kids in classrooms and teachers talking. We don't have any flashy signs or big corporate logos. It’s just a school for the local community. The staff here are mostly local people too. We spend our days making sure the kids are where they need to be and that the lessons are moving along. The space is used well, though it’s not huge. We have the usual stuff you find in a school—desks, boards, and books. Sometimes the noise from Diamond Harbour Road drifts in, but you get used to it after a while. It’s an honest, working school. Parents know us because we’ve been at this address for so long. There’s no need for big speeches or fancy brochures; we just do our daily work here at number 35 and try to keep things organized.
