Circus Avenue is a pretty well-known area, so it’s easy for visitors to find the turn. We are on the West Row side. We deal with leather, as the name says. Our space is filled with rolls of material and the tools we use every day. It’s not the quietest office because of the traffic outside. Kolkata is always moving and the horns never really stop. We have a team that handles the processing and the office work. We aren't a giant corporation, just a private limited company that sticks to its roots. A lot of our time goes into sourcing the right materials for the job. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we've seen. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or branding. The walls are a bit plain, but we have everything we need to produce our leather goods. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves, but we know where everything is kept. We take things one day at a time and focus on the orders we have. It's a simple life for us here in the city.
