Radial Leathers

Radial Leathers is tucked away at No. 9 P Abinash Chowdhury Lane. It is one of those spots that is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We have been working with leather here for quite some time now. The smell of the hides is something you just get used to after the first few hours of the morning. It’s a messy job sometimes. There are scraps on the floor and tools everywhere. We don’t really have a receptionist or a big lobby area. You just walk in and someone is probably cutting something or packing a box. The lane outside is narrow so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache. We have to time it right or the whole street gets blocked up. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years. We just know where everything is, even if it looks like a jumble to someone else. We spend a lot of time checking the texture of the skins and making sure the colors match up right. It isn’t always perfect because that is just how leather is. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing them. We usually eat lunch together in the back area. It is a quiet kind of business most days. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. There is no point in making things more complicated than they need to be.
