Vishwatej Restaurant

Vishwatej Restaurant is located over at Rs No 1019 on the Kalamba Ring Road. We are part of the Sane Guruji Vasahat area in Kolhapur. Most people find us by looking for New Vashi Naka or Aapte Nagar since those are the big landmarks around here. We are also quite close to Raut Nagar. The 416012 area is where we have spent most of our lives. The restaurant itself is a bit of a local hangout. It is not very polished and the chairs might creak a little when you sit down. We do not have a big staff just a few of us doing the cooking and the cleaning. The Ring Road gets pretty busy with trucks and cars so it can be a bit noisy outside. We have been here for a long time and have seen the Vasahat change quite a bit as more houses were built. We don't really do any advertising. People just know we are here because of the smell of the kitchen. Sometimes we run out of certain items early in the day if it has been a busy morning. We just tell it like it is. If the food is finished it is finished. It is a straightforward way of running things and the neighbors seem to appreciate that. We are just a regular Kolhapur spot for people who want something simple and do not care about fancy decorations.
