Alisha Restaurant

Alisha Restaurant is situated at 243/E in Tarabai Park, Kolhapur. We are right next to Kiran Banglow, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. Tarabai Park is a nice area, a bit more relaxed than the city center but still with plenty of life. Our restaurant is a straightforward place. We serve the people who live in the neighborhood and those who are passing through for work. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us handling the cooking and the serving. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of ads. Most of our customers come in because they saw the sign while walking or heard about us from a neighbor. The building is simple and we try to keep it tidy. Every morning starts with cleaning the floors and getting the kitchen fire started. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and getting things ready for the lunch rush. It’s hard work, especially when it gets hot in Kolhapur, but we’re used to it. We don’t have any grand mission statements or anything like that. We just open the doors, cook the food, and hope people eat well enough to come back next week. It’s a plain and honest business. We like the quiet of the afternoons when we can sit for a minute before the dinner crowd starts showing up and things get loud again. It’s just how the day goes here.
